Due to time constraints I am afraid I likely will not get the last species thingy up here, but I will be taking these down and putting them up on my Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/liokkamillie) publicly, so you will get to eventually know more specifics about the fae :D
(I know this one is shorter,,, so if you have any kind of questions about Kous or any of the others just drop them down I am more than willing to answer when I can answer without feeling like I'm being mean <3)
Kous,
the adaptable pokemonKous and Kyn, while typically called “dragons” “drakes” or the like, are not genetically classified as such, due to them actually being mammals.
Kous are far more rare on level three or above planets, likely due to their size and history with well settled planets. (Many non-pygmy breed Kous easily reach 10 feet long, making finding a place to sleep in a crowded city difficult.)
They are often able to live in the most harsh of places due to their ability to magically adapt to their surroundings; Adults have a far more limited ability of this, (they must make a conscious effort to change their bodies) but any children born there will be very well suited to their home.
Kyn, on the other hand, can be found on most planets, but more often on well settled planets due to their hybrid nature.
(Kous do not make a distinctions between Kou, Kyn, and subspecies; You're either a “Big Kou” “Biped Kou” or “Small Kou”, much to the chagrin of many other species.)
Kous can hybridize with any other mammalian species.
Kou religion, socio-econimic, and the like vary a lot between hives, and are often influenced by the places around them when the hive is built.
Many species have magical capabilites ranging from control of fire, seeing into the future, etc.
Kous, on the other hand, are only capable of one kind of magic, Shapeshifting.
Even a young Kou will be better at shapeshifting than a dedicated learner of another species.
This ability however, does seem to come with a price; Kous are far more susceptible to magical illnesses and Chimerism (A permanent magical backfire that leaves the user a conglomerate of different body parts) than other species.
Also,,, as usual here's a link to the discord :D sometimes I ramble there and put extras up :eyes:
